"Fabulous" Christmas Cards for 2010

We are so excited to be able to offer you such fabulous options for your Christmas cards the year. From Retro and Funky to your ever so delightful Vintage. We have posted most of them here today and will have the rest uploaded in a day or two, so just let us know which one(s) you like. Remember your photos do not have to be from a Christmas session. Any portraits made throughout the year will make a spectacular Christmas card with these designs.

Hey guys! Here are the directions for our Christmas on the Farm
this Saturday Oct. 23rd.

Go 278 west past West Elementary
Turn Right between ballfields and the jetpep
Go 2 blocks and take a left on Warnke Rd.
Stay on Warke Rd, pavement will end and turn to gravel
continue to end of road, the house is blue with red shutters
There will be signs where to park behind the house

Easter Mini-Sessions Sat. 3-27

O.k. So first a few things you need to know about your Easter Session. These are mini-sessions and are only 15minutes in length, due to the weather Sunday we have MAXimized our time slots on Saturday and ask that you arrive to your shoot early or on-time and ready to go. If you aren't ready or are running late you may lose your session and we DON'T want that!!! So please arrive a few minutes early so your little one will be ready to go at their scheduled session time.

I guess the next important thing you need to know is where to go :). We will be shooting at a dear friend of mine's home that is located in Vinemont, AL. Her address is 51 County Road 1429 Vinemont, AL 35179. Coming from Cullman on Hwy 31 you will pass Sportsworld Skate Center on your left and continue straight for a mile or so. You will turn Right on County Road 1398 (which is the road to Folsom Field / Cullman County's Municipal Airport), then in 0.1 mile you will turn Right into Bradford Place (County Road 1417)sub-division we may be shooting in a small field on your right or you may take your first left on Co.Rd. 1417, then your first left onto Co. Rd. 1429 and be shooting there in the cul-de-sac. It may sound confusing but it is SUPER easy!!! Mapquest or a GPS will get you there easy also but these directions are Pretty detailed :). I guess that's it, be careful and I'll see you tomorrow!!!

Winter Wonderland

We are busier than EVER with Christmas approaching fast! We have had so many calls about Santa sessions that unfortunately they booked within just a few weeks and before we ever even posted a blog! Because of this I decided to do another day of Christmas Sessions, but since Santa could only get away from the North Pole for the 2days he already had blocked for us (He is SUPER busy this time of year too :))we added a "Winter Wonderland" Set and will do mini sessions. This is our Easter set from 09 that we've turned from a garden set to a winter HAVEN!!!! We only have a few spots left for these also so call or e-mail now to book your session! These sessions will be held outside on Saturday Nov.14th These are the ONLY SESSIONS WE HAVE LEFT FOR 2009...no exceptions, SORRY!!!! In case of rain that day we will reschedule for the following Saturday. So bring your favorite Coat, Hat, and Mittens....and get ready to have some fun!

Winter Wonderland will be on Saturday November 14th. it will be a 20 minute mini session. The session fee is $125.00 and that will include 1 8X10, 2 5X7's, and 24 wallets (of the same pose). You will also receive 10% off any additional orders and cards. This session will be one look and you will have approximately 15 proofs to choose from....but those 15 will be GREAT :)!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience lately with turnaround times, especially online proofing. We are working just as quick as possible to get back to a normal routine at the studio but things have been a bit overwhelming personally for me with my health. I've had a TON of doctors appointments to deal with lately to try and figure out what is going on but in a nutshell I began slightly hurting in my hands, elbows, and knees (which I thought was nothing really, I brushed it off as work related) until overnight about 4 weeks ago it progressed and I could barely walk, brush my teeth, or drive. I'm currently being tested for everything under the sun and have had very painful knots pop up under the skin. I had to have one removed for biopsy a week ago, it came back fine though (thanks everyone for the prayers). Beyond that I don't have much more information yet. I am currently on heavy steriods for 6 weeks and will find out more in the coming weeks......HOPEFULLY!!!! It's CRAZY only being 33 and waking up one day in an 80 or 90 year old body but apparently it happens???

Well I'm optimistic and KNOW I will be fine....I have too many people praying for me :).... THANKS again to all my fabulous clients and friends and I appreciate you!!!!

With that being said I won't be able to book more appointments for Christmas delivery, except Santa Sessions which will be the first Sat. Sun. of November....I will be posting the exact Santa information this week. Don't forget though, you can use images from a previous session earlier in the year...The best Christmas cards sometimes aren't those with any kind of Holiday theme. Our Holiday Deadline is November 15th so If you are currently scheduled you are in :)....if not we will have to place you on a waitlist in case of cancellation. We may expand our Santa Sessions if needed though, so we can accomodate as many clients as we can!

What a Joy...

It was when I found out this couple was expecting their first child this year. I was so happy for them! I had been honored to be a part of their wedding day and now they were asking me to photograph their new baby girl....words can't describe how blessed I felt. To be asked to be a part of 2 of the biggest events in a couples life....well I'm humbled. And with that I just hope they are pleased!!! It was a true blessing to have this honor and I thank you J&A :)....HUGS! T

Is the best way I know to describe this family, which is actualy missing Dad due to work :(, but we are sure he's going to be happy to put a few of these images on his desk at work. It was so great getting to meet this Mom. Larissa and my daughter Emma were in the same preschool class last year and T.J. and Larissa even came to Emma's 5th birthday party but we never got to really talk. I was always rushing around or trying to take pics :(...so it was a PLEASURE to actually get to talk to T.J. All I can say is I really enjoyed the session and am HONORED she would ask me to photograph her adorable children....Are they not just stunning.... T.J. I Hope you like!

We were LONG over due for a new blog and it finally happened! Thank you SO much to our wonderful friends Kelly and Tara for helping us! You girls are amazing!

This is Evelyn Grace. We met her when she was 9 days old and will soon be shooting her 1st Birthday session. Oh how time flies!!! Here are a few pictures from her 9 month session. Look at that gown! BEAUTIFUL! We love you Tara and Evelyn Grace and can't wait to see you!
